INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

My clinical experience includes work in private practice, community mental health, trauma-focused settings, developmental and family-based programs, psychological assessment environments, and pediatric neurology settings.

Due to my proximity to Silicon Valley, I often work with professionals in high-pressure environments, as well as immigrants and bicultural individuals navigating different cultural expectations, identities, and family systems.

My background is in attachment, trauma, early development, and developmental differences. I trained at the UCSF Infant-Parent Program and UCSF Child Trauma Research Center, and my clinical work continues to be informed by attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and developmental psychology.

I also spent many years working with children, adolescents, and families in developmental and community-based settings, including facilitating social skills groups for neurodivergent children and teens. My experience working alongside families in pediatric neurology and developmental settings continues to inform how I understand neurodivergence, emotional regulation, family dynamics, sensory differences, and social functioning.

While I no longer work directly with very young children, this background strongly informs how I work with both adolescents and adults around emotional patterns, nervous system responses, relationships, identity, and neurodivergence.

Depending on the person and the situation, I draw from:

  • EMDR

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy

  • Mindfulness-based approaches

  • Attachment-focused and interpersonal work

I have additional training in trauma treatment, anxiety, attachment, interpersonal neurobiology, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Circle of Security, DIR/Floortime, and the Gottman Method.

I work with teens and adults around:

  • Anxiety and chronic stress

  • Trauma and difficult past experiences

  • Relationship patterns

  • Self-esteem and self-criticism

  • Emotional overwhelm and reactivity

  • Burnout

  • Life transitions

  • Codependency

  • Neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism

  • Perimenopause and menopause

  • Identity, cultural, and immigrant-related experiences
